How DNS Leaks Happen
A DNS leak occurs when DNS queries bypass your VPN tunnel and are sent to your ISP's DNS servers. This reveals your browsing activity despite using a VPN. Common causes include misconfigured VPN split tunneling, IPv6 leaks, and WebRTC leaks.
